Sunday’s Song Lyric – Short Stories inspired by songs

Not every one of these is a short story.  A couple are just a commentary or observation.  I love music and find it to be very inspiring.  All songs tell a story.   Although, these stories aren’t what the original composer would have been thinking, my favorite lyrics speak to me in a unique way.  Here are the songs I used for my inspiration and links to the posts.  I hope you enjoy these.  They’re listed in reverse chronological order.

Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) – Green Day

Dear Mr. Fantasy – Traffic

Lips Like Sugar – Echo and the Bunnymen

Like Real People Do – Hozier

Cities In Dust – Siouxie and the Banshees

Landslide – Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac

Wild Horses – The Rolling Stones

First – Cold War Kids (A continuation!)

Something Is Not Right With Me – Cold War Kids

Johnny Feelgood – Liz Phair

I Am Woman – Helen Reddy

Everlong – Foo Fighters

Unsatisfied – The Replacements

Last Night On Maudlin Street – Morrisey
